A call for help!

North Wales Neighbourhood Watch Association is a branch of the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation specifically to provide support in the area covered by North Wales Police. The boundary approximately follows the counties of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.

Owing to personal circumstances, two members of the North Wales Neighbourhood Watch Association Committee are standing down, leaving a vacancy for treasurer and one other member.  Additional members are also welcome to expand the Committee size.

Please consider devoting a little of your time to this worthwhile cause  by volunteering as a new Committee member.  NWNWA is difficult to manage when the remaining Committee members have to wear two hats!  It only involves attending a few meetings, typically four a year at various venues around North Wales and offering assistance and guidance to interested new members and schemes. Your own transport is useful but travelling expenses will be covered if necessary and venues are chosen to be accessible.

The Committee is small and friendly, meetings are mostly informal although minuted and sometimes a guest will visit to discuss local issues. At least one police officer normally attends the meetings to talk about trends in crime and particular areas of concern to residents that Neighbourhood Watch can help with.

If you are interested, please write to with your name and location for more details.
