Kingsway Flats Arbury survey

Alert message sent 16/10/2018 20:24:00

Information sent on behalf of Cambridgeshire Constabulary

Dear Residents,

Last week, over the course of two evenings, your local neighbourhood police team and City Homes delivered a questionnaire at every property in Kingsway Flats, Arbury. We were asking residents for their opinions on community engagement and policing in their local area. The purpose of this was to allow City Homes and the police to work together in order to best understand and serve our communities’ needs. If you received one of these survey letters, please make sure you are filling these in on paper and returning them to City Homes (171 Arbury Road) or submitting them online via the link in the handour. We'd like these responses as soon as possible please, so we can feedback to you and get working on the issues raised.

The survey is something we wanted to trial at Kingsway but are open to completing in other areas Kings Hedges, Arbury, Kings Hedges and Chesterton, both residential and business-wide. We will feedback our findings from Kingsway and hopefully be able to share a broader survey link for any resident to submit their thoughts through. This would be a place to share ideas and thoughts on community engagement and how we police only.

If you see any suspicious or criminal activity you can report it to the police by calling 101 or via the Cambridgeshire Constabulary website at  You can also call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or report online at  Fraud and cybercrime can be reported to Action Fraud at or by calling 0300 123 2040.

In an emergency, if anyone is at risk of harm or if there is a crime in progress, always call 999.

If you wish to contact Cambridge City Homes specifically about resident engagement and community initiatives you can do so at or by calling 01223 458 323.

For guidance around who to contact regarding issues such as noise nuisance, littering and anti-social behaviour please consult the Cambridge City Council website at

Finally, October is one of our busiest months in terms of burglaries. Please make sure you are vigilant and take precautions around your properties as the nights get longer. Some helpful ideas can be found here.

Best wishes,

PC Bacchus and PC Denniff, Cambridgeshire Constabulary Partnerships Team
